Spyglass Home Inspections
We're looking out for your home.

Know Your New Home

You've been looking for a home, and you found one that might be just right. You're about to make a major commitment— of money, time, energy and emotions. But do you know everything you should know about your prospective home? Are there hidden defects or potential problems that only an expert could identify? You naturally want as complete a picture as possible before closing the deal on such a big investment.

Let me take a look before you leap. I'm Mark Wattles, owner of Spyglass Home Inspections. I am a graduate of Central Piedmont Community College’s school of Professional Home Inspectors Training. I've inspected many homes, old and new, inside and out, from the roof to the basement. I'll give you a thorough, objective analysis of your home that will be useful not only now, as you become an informed home buyer, but in your future as a conscientious homeowner.

The purchase or sale of a home is one of the largest single investments/transactions you will ever make.

Our report will provide you with an independent objective analysis of the observable conditions. Your inspection report will exceed the Standards of Practice of North Carolina. The report is designed for your use, not for our convenience! You will especially enjoy being able to see a photo of the defect without having to crawl under the home to view it while at the inspection.

We strongly encourage you to attend the inspection.

Sincerely,

Mark Wattles

Why Consider A Home Inspection?

Home inspections today are more the rule rather than the exception. Responsible realtors and mortgage companies strongly encourage their clients to have a home inspection. Even new houses regularly have issues that need to be addressed before closing, and older homes may have hidden damage or safety issues requiring costly repair.

Knowledgeable people realize that the cost of a home inspection is minimal compared to the value!
